What's the difference between Free and Pro?

Free includes all tools with daily usage limits and ads. Pro removes all limits, removes ads, and adds priority processing for AI features like PDF summarization and background removal. Both plans support BYOK (bring your own API key) for OpenAI features.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. Your Pro subscription continues until the end of your current billing period, then stops. No penalties, no "please call to cancel" dark patterns. Manage your subscription from your account page.

Do I need to provide a credit card for the free plan?

No. The free plan requires no payment information at all. You can use most tools without even creating an account — just open the page and start using the tool.

How does BYOK (Bring Your Own Key) work?

For AI-powered features like PDF chat, image background removal, and text-to-speech, you provide your own OpenAI API key. Your key is stored securely and used only for your requests. You pay OpenAI directly for API usage at their standard rates — ToolLab never charges a markup on API calls.

What payment methods do you accept?

We process payments through Stripe, which accepts all major credit and debit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Link. Your payment details are handled entirely by Stripe — ToolLab never sees or stores your full card number.

Are there any hidden fees?

No. Pro is $5 per month flat. There are no per-use fees, no overage charges, and no premium feature upsells. The only additional cost you might incur is your own OpenAI API usage if you use AI features — that's billed by OpenAI directly, not by ToolLab.

Do you offer refunds?

If you're not satisfied with Pro, contact us within 7 days of your first payment for a full refund. After that, you can cancel anytime to stop future charges. Contact us at the email on our Contact page.
